Obtaining Mage Points is a simple and easy task that be done daily. It doesn't require any fancy knowledge or that  kind of stuff, but rather requires constant activity and role-playing. To obtain Mage you can create things that we like to call Mage Threads! Mage Threads are simple threads that show your character performing a task such as creating a new potion, or discovering a magical creature. The required word length for an individual Mage Thread is 500 Words. However, the required word cap for group Mage Threads, is 150 Words. If your character is creating a new potion they also cannot be tending to their pet. It must be solely centered around said task. Mage Threads can be individual, or with other students. If the thread does happen to be with multiple students, you must wait for each of those students to post their exits before collecting your Mage Points on the maintenance thread. The more Mage Points, the stronger the wizard.
